Happy new years

Happy new years everyone. On the first of January I completed a 3km run in the rain it wasn't very hard for me but it also wasn't easy. Once my run was over I jumped into my grandparents pool and it was freezing but I stayed in there to cool my body down . Soon after was a hot bath with my brother. then a tradition in my family is that on new years day we drink sparkling grape juice and eat a piece of chocolate but because everyone was waiting for me to get out of the bath my koro brought me the drink and chocolate ( don't worry my clothes were on ) . I then left and headed home then we went to Valentines for dinner to celebrate both my mothers birthday and the start of a new year.

  1. What a great way to start the New Year Cameo. It sounds like the 1st of January was action packed. Are you participating in the blogging challenge over January too?

  2. Hi Cameo,

I have just come in from a run (in the rain!) and read your post. It is great to see that you are also a runner! It is also great to see that you may be interested in blogging over the summer.

Our Summer Learning Journey Project is currently underway and you are welcome to join in anytime. There are over 20 fun activities that you can complete. Each activity is worth points and the points will be added up at the end of the summer. Students with the most points will win prizes. All participants will also earn a badge and a certificate.

I will be checking the blogspots of each participant up until Tuesday 26 January (the last day of the blogging programme). If you would like to join us please log onto the Summer Learning Journey website: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/home-1, register and then click on the 'Weekly Activities' tab. The activities are divided into 3 weeks and you will likely want to start with 'Week 1.'

A number of students from Pt England are currently participating. If you'd like to be one of them, please log on and blog today!

Hope to see you online this week :)

    Cheers,
    Rachel
